My good friend, The Doctor, turned me on to this website last week…and its totally changed my life. Its some French run website that has live performances by some pretty kick ass bands. I know what you’re thinking… “Blackbird, I can go on Youtube and find any live performance I’d ever want to see. And plus it’s French….F the French.” Not so fast. While I couldn’t agree with you more on the final comment, this website may be a turning point for that country as a whole.

Take-Away Shows takes a creative approach to showcasing great live bands in the most interesting of settings. Whether its a freight elevator, walking down a busy street, rolling around backstage on a wooden trolley or from inside that mechanical rhinoceros in Ace Ventura 2 (OK I made the last one up, but all the other ones are legit.) These videos are a true testament to the quality of each and every one of it’s featured artists. In other words, you wont see Fall Out Boy on here….

I strongly suggest checking out the following clips from the site (in order of awesomeness). But feel free to fish around for other hidden treasures.
