Who knew that Sufjan can jam too? In this new song from the Believer Magazine. 2007 compilation cd, Sufjan shows that he isn’t always such a softie and can rock out without his banjo. It’s hard to even believe that it’s him… Which makes this song even more awesome…
Also on the cd is a solo track from Zach Condon of Beirut that is a nice departure from his normal sound. Looks like I am going to have to go pick up a copy of the mag…

have you guys ever heard the jams by zach's old band, The Real People? You can google em and find a bunch of un-named tracks (about 20 i think) that are out there on random blogs. a lot like the venice song...beirut meets electronica.
