This is a huge week for the Rocks playoff chances as they go into road series with the Padres (Sorry Dr. Jones but the Padres are gettin smoked…) and Dodgers two games out of the wild card and five games out of first. In honor of the success that we will undoubtedly achieve this week, we start out with a mash-up of Troy Tulowitzki’s entrance song. If this kid doesn’t win NL rookie of the year (screw you Hunter Pence) then the award is a crock (and no it’s not just because his last name sounds like one of my other hero’s…).
We will see a plethora of good albums being released over the next two months and this weeks mix features new tracks from two that I will definitely pick up. Rogue Wave’s sophomore effort Asleep at Heaven’s Gate will hit the streets on September 18th and Earlimart’s 5th full length, Mentor Tormentor is available next Tuesday, the 21st. Pick em up…
Greggers has contributed the Young Jeezy mix of Kanye’s Can’t Tell Me Nothing, The Start of Something from Voxtrot’s Raised By Wolves EP and another Of Montreal song, Du Og Meg.
Check out Of Montreal’s just released tour schedule, get tix when they hit your town and pray that Kevin Barnes decides to keep his clothes on this time…
