Finally it’s almost that time again. In a few hours the Blackbird, T and I will descend upon the fair city of Chicago for this year’s Lollapalooza festival. Whoever had the idea to change this once floundering traveling show to a once-a-year megafest in downtown Chicago deserves a hell of a lot of credit. While this year’s lineup isn’t quite as good as last year’s there are still a ton of great acts and it should be another weekend to remember. Most notable for me is the Friday evening back to back to back day close of The Black Keys followed by LCD Soundsystem and what is my early pick for the best act of the show, Daft Punk (Check out our friend over at Cause = Time and his review of last night’s show at Red Rocks).
