This soundtrack is going to be good. I’m gonna go as far as saying its going to be damn good. Whoever put this together for Sony should get a raise immediately, cause this thing is first class. The credits on this are ridiculous: Willie Nelson, Eddie Vedder, Sonic Youth, Jeff Tweedy, Stephen Malkmus, The Black Keys, Cat Power, Sufjan Stevens, Yo La Tengo, Jack Johnson….just to name about half of them.

I’ve had the chance to hear a couple tracks on KEXP and on the soundtrack’s myspace site ; and every single one has been pretty enjoyable. No, I haven’t heard The Black Key’s version of “Wicked Messenger” but you can bet your sweet ass that will be the first song I listen to when I purchase this album tomorrow.

And while we’re talking Dylan, I thought I’d share my all time favorite picture of Bob Dylan. Which was captured by the legendary Elliott Landy, called “Dylan Infrared”...you’re welcome.
