Daytrotter is a fantastic and original website that promises to “contribute to the musical landscape” by “giving you exclusive, re-worked, alternate versions of old songs and unreleased tracks by some of your favorite bands and by a lot of your next favorite bands.” And they do an amazing job… Artists stop by their tiny studio in Rock Island, Illinois to record live, exclusive version of 3-5 songs that Daytrotter makes available to the masses.
If you have never stumbled upon the site before then the recently posted session from Rockouts (as well as everyone else) fave Vampire Weekend is a perfect place to start…
