Can I get an Encore?!

So…... things got a little nutty at MSG last night. Screamfest made it’s stop at NYC and Blackbird himself was posted up in a suite drinking Heineken’s. No, thats not the nutty part asshole, I’m just setting the scene.

While I was pumped for my first visit to MSG, I will admit I spent about 80% of the time wishing it was for a Knicks game rather than a hip-hop show, as I couldn’t pick out Young Joc, Ciara, T-Pain or TI from a line up if my life depended on it. Which is why I spent the first hour running that epic 1995 Reggie Miller playoff performance at the Garden through my head over and over.

Well that was until about 11:00 when TI was doing his thang and next thing you know…..out comes none other than Hova!!!! Thats right….Jigga Man at the Garden…. my life doesn’t suck. They did “Encore” and before you knew it Diddy, Kanye, 50 and Swizz Beats were all out there too. Whaaaaaaaaaat?! They all went into Kanye’s new single, “Can’t tell me nothin.” (Which has to prove my theory that this whole Kanye vs 50 thing is nothing more than a marketing scheme taken straight from the WWF circa ‘94). The place was going absolutely bonkers as Hip-Hop history was being written right in front of my eyes. And the funniest part? The freakin gig wasn’t even sold out. For our NYC readers who passed….it’s safe to say that YOU BLEW IT!

Watch it Jones, or next time you come to new york you'll be getting a dirt nap rather than a damp ghostland.
